A senior accountant manages a company's financial records and reports, and provides financial advice. They also ensure that the company's financial policies are applied accurately.

Minimum 2 - 5 yrs of Accountant experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

Financial reporting: Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements
Accounts payable and receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, including payroll
Tax preparation: Prepare tax returns for individuals and businesses
Internal audits: Conduct internal audits and develop procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
Financial analysis: Analyze financial reports and data to make informed financial decisions
General ledger: Maintain the general ledger, which is used to store and organize financial data
Variance analysis: Perform variance analyses to identify areas for improvement
Account reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy
Training and mentoring: Train and mentor junior accountants

Skills and qualifications

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills
Strong organization and management skills
Certifications and multiple years of professional accounting experience
