Senior Accountant

Uplift Global Solutions is a growing organization looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals, hands-on experience with GST, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts on a daily basis
• Record and reconcile sales, purchases, expenses, and bank transactions
• Handle GST compliance (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation with books & 2B)
• Manage TDS deduction, payment, and return filing
• Process vendor payments and customer invoicing
• Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, P&L, and cash flow summaries
• Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
• Ensure timely compliance with statutory and regulatory deadlines
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal teams
• Follow and help improve accounting SOPs and internal controls

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards & GST
• Experience with Tally / Zoho Books / QuickBooks
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot tables, lookups, reconciliation)
• Understanding of TDS, payroll basics, and compliance
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong ethics, confidentiality, and professional integrity

Preferred (Good to Have)

• Experience in service-based or multi-department organizations
• Exposure to MIS reporting and budgeting
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
• SOP-driven and process-oriented mindset
