Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with in-depth working knowledge of Tally ERP (preferably Tally Prime). The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate record-keeping, and support statutory compliance and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain books of accounts using Tally ERP (voucher entries, ledger creation, groupings).
• Prepare and finalize journal entries, ledgers, trial balance, and balance sheet.
• Perform bank reconciliations and cash book maintenance.
• Manage accounts receivable/payable, vendor payments, and customer follow-ups.
• Generate and analyze GST returns, TDS, and other statutory reports via Tally.
• Assist in inventory accounting, MIS reports, and period-end closing.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Required Skills:

• Strong command over Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and taxation.
• Proficient in MS Excel and basic reporting.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, PF/ESI compliance is a plus.

Qualifications:

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in core accounting functions using Tally.
