Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Account Executive located in Powai, Mumbai. This role involves a blend of accounting tasks, including managing sales and purchase records, handling accounts receivable and payable, ensuring tax compliance, and supporting day-to-day administrative activities. We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software.


Key Responsibilities:

1.Sales & Purchase Bill Booking:

  • Accurately record all sales and purchase bills.
  • Ensure timely and accurate entries in the accounting system to maintain up-to-date financial records.

2.Accounts Receivable (AR) Management:

  • Manage customer payments, ensuring all transactions are recorded and reconciled.
  • Create and maintain aging reports to monitor outstanding receivables.
  • Follow up with customers for timely payments and resolve any discrepancies.

3.Accounts Payable (AP) Management:

  • Process and manage vendor payments in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile vendor bills and manage payment processing.
  • Ensure all vendor accounts are up-to-date and address any payment-related queries.

4.General Office & Administrative Support:

  • Handle day-to-day office tasks, including data entry and coordination with various departments.
  • Support general administrative functions to ensure smooth business operations.

5.Administrative Record-Keeping:

  • Maintain organized records and prepare documents as required.
  • Provide administrative support to senior management, including document preparation and record-keeping.

6.GST Compliance:

  • Prepare GST data for timely return filing.
  • Handle GST invoicing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.


Additional Role Expectations:

  • Provide operational support to the

    logistics team

    for documentation and coordination.
  • Maintain accurate financial documentation related to logistics, purchases, and sales.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any discrepancies in financial or logistical documentation.


Qualifications:

  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience:

    2-4 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
