Security Operations Manager

As a SOC Delivery Manager at Aujas West, your primary responsibility will be to manage the West region clients and a team of security analysts and incident handlers. Your team will be providing 24x7x365 security monitoring and incident response functions. Key responsibilities include: - Developing and delivering long-term roadmap strategies. - Assisting in the development of processes and procedures to enhance security operations functions, incident response times, incident analysis, and overall SOC functions. - Researching industry trends, identifying ongoing security threats, analyzing new security testing tools, and providing recommendations on the need and usefulness of services and products. - Effectively communicating security concepts with both technical and non-technical individuals. - Writing or reviewing security-related documents such as incident reports, proposals, and tactical or strategic initiatives. - Training subordinate security professionals or other organization members in security rules and procedures. - Reviewing financial reports to ensure efficiency and quality of security operations. - Attending meetings, professional seminars, or conferences to stay updated on changes in executive legislative directives or new technologies impacting security operations. - Assisting in emergency management and contingency planning. - Analyzing and evaluating security operations to identify risks or opportunities for improvement. - Assisting in the creation of security standards, policies, and procedures. - Communicating security status, updates, and actual or potential problems using established protocols. - Collecting and analyzing security data to determine security needs, security program goals, or program accomplishments. - Mentoring and providing career development for the security operations centre team. Qualifications required for this role: - 8+ years of experience in a similar role. - Strong understanding of security operations, incident response, and industry best practices. - Excellent communication skills to effectively convey security concepts to various audiences. - Ability to analyze security data and identify areas for improvement. - Experience in developing security strategies and procedures to enhance operations. - Prior experience in mentoring and developing security professionals.
