Security Operations Manager

As a Security Operations Manager at Tradeweb Markets, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for protecting clients and employees from evolving security threats. Your role involves enhancing and supporting the Security Operations program to transition into a hybrid operating model. Utilizing your technical expertise and communication skills, you will collaborate with various teams to ensure a secure environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Oversee a team of security operations engineers to provide 24x7x365 detection and response capabilities. - Improve existing processes to achieve measurable results across Security Operations Key Results (OKRs). - Execute technical incident response processes including disk/memory forensics, log analysis, evidence handling, and report creation. - Collaborate with Cyber Threat Intelligence teams to stay informed about current threat actor techniques. - Manage relationships with security vendors to maintain Tradeweb standards. - Mentor security engineers in incident response, threat hunting, and security automation. - Establish partnerships with key stakeholders in Compliance, Infrastructure, and Risk departments. - Monitor and report related metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and key risk indicators (KRIs) to senior management. **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security and related technical disciplines, with at least 6 years in security operations, incident response, or cyber threat investigations. - Proficiency in Windows and Unix environments with a focus on disk and memory forensic analysis. - Experience in leading and developing security teams with a strong technical background. - Familiarity with SIEM technologies such as Splunk, ELK, XSIAM, or QRadar. - Ability to interpret and implement technical, legal, and compliance requirements in a regulated environment. - Effective communicator capable of explaining cyber risks to diverse audiences. - Deep understanding of network security architecture, internet protocols, and web service technologies. - Preference for experience in financial services or financial technology (FinTech) sector. - CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications are advantageous.
