Your Role And Responsibilities

Support day-to-day operations of BYOK solutions used in cloud and on-prem environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP, or other SaaS platforms).Manage encryption key lifecycle – generation, rotation, archival, and revocation.Perform incident analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution related to key usage or integration failures.Coordinate with security, cloud, and application teams to ensure BYOK configurations meet compliance and security guidelines.Monitor key health, certificate expirations, and platform alerts through dashboards or monitoring tools.Document operational procedures, runbooks, and standard operating processes (SOPs).Participate in periodic audits, compliance reviews, and vulnerability assessments.Support integration of BYOK with HSM (Hardware Security Module) or Key Management Services (KMS).Assist in policy implementation and enforcement for encryption and key management.Provide L2-level escalation support and coordinate with L3/Engineering teams for complex issues.

Master's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

  • 2–5 years of experience in cloud security, encryption, or key management operations.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more: Azure Key Vault, AWS KMS, Google Cloud KMS, Thales CipherTrust, or similar HSM/KMS platforms.
  • Good understanding of BYOK concepts, encryption mechanisms (AES, RSA), and certificate management.
  • Familiarity with incident management tools, monitoring platforms, and change management processes (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Basic scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with good communication and coordination ability.

  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability in daily operations.
  • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams under time-sensitive situations.
  • Detail-oriented, with a focus on process consistency and documentation.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and proactive risk management.
