Section Head Dispatch and Logistics Department

Job Title

Section Head - Dispatch & Logistics - Steel Plan and Perform activity : 1. Executing daily dispatch schedule on basis of clearance received. 2. Circulation of dispatch information to all stakeholder. 3. Ensuring adherence to the dispatch schedules. 4. Preparing invoice documentation and dispatch documentation for customers and required internal stake holders at time of dispatch. 5. Maintaining all records as required as per documentation as per organizational defined process and SOP 6. Verification of bills and invoices and ensuring timely clearance of transporter bills/invoices. 2. Drive initiative : 1. Providing data for carrying out analysis of dispatch done to provide inputs on cost saving measures and planning. 3. Contracts and Rates : 1. Following up for Seeking tenders from transporters on Quarterly basis for rate review. 2. Review and Monitor cost with reference to rates agreed.

Principal Accountabilities

Executing of Dispatch and Logistics Plan for as received to ensure that smooth dispatch of finished goods and in process goods for Job work based on the PPC inputs. 2. Ensuring Safe and timely delivery of finished goods ( produced In house and dispatched from vendor end to customers. leading to customer satisfaction 3. Supporting in achieving desired daily and monthly dispatch targets as per ABP. 4. Maintaining records and documentations required for dispatch of materials and maintaining the same in documentation.
