Key Responsibilities

1. SEO Strategy & Growth Hacking

• Design and execute growth hacks to achieve rankings in competitive niches.
• Experiment with SERP features, schema, Discover optimization, and Google News inclusion.
• Balance white-hat SEO best practices with creative hacks to outpace competitors.

2. On-Page & Content Optimization

• Lead keyword mapping, content structuring, internal linking, and CTR optimization.
• Build scalable systems for content optimization (writers + AI workflows).
• Partner with editors and content pods to ensure E-E-A-T compliance.
• Continuously optimize existing content portfolio for traffic growth.

3. Analytics & ROI

• Track SEO KPIs and report performance to leadership.
• Use GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog & other tools to measure impact.
• Translate data into actionable strategies (CTR, bounce rate, conversions).

4. Leadership & Collaboration

• Manage and mentor SEO specialists with clear SOPs and KPIs.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and content managers to execute SEO recommendations.

Core Skills & Requirements

• 7–12 years of SEO experience with proven track record in driving organic growth at scale.
• Growth hacker mindset – ability to balance guidelines with creative experimentation.
• Strong expertise in on-page SEO: keyword strategy, user intent mapping, CTR optimization.
• Solid understanding of technical SEO and recovery from penalties.
• Hands-on with SEO tools: GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog.
• Proven ability to rank content in Discover, Google News, Featured Snippets & competitive SERPs.
• Analytical, data-driven decision maker with strong experimentation skills.

Additional Skills (Good to Have)

• AI-driven SEO workflows for optimization and automation.
• A/B testing for SEO experiments.
• Exposure to international/multilingual SEO strategies.
• Understanding of content monetization models & growth frameworks.
• Familiarity with CRO to align SEO with business outcomes.
