We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test II (SDET II) to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of high-scale web and backend applications. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks for both web and API platforms, collaborating closely with development and product teams. You will contribute to faster releases by building robust, scalable test solutions and performing comprehensive validation across multiple environments. Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for web and API testing using Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent tools
- Design, execute, and manage test strategies, cases, and plans based on technical and business requirements
- Perform regression, exploratory, and performance testing to identify and report issues
- Automate API testing to validate performance, reliability, and functionality
- Collaborate with developers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely resolution of defects
- Continuously improve test automation processes, tools, and techniques to enhance efficiency and quality
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in test automation for web and API applications
- Proficiency in Java or JavaScript programming languages
- Hands-on experience with web testing frameworks such as Playwright or Selenium
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST-assured) and REST APIs
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC practices
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
- Basic knowledge of UNIX/Linux systems and scripting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
