About the Role

SDE-3 (Node.js)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services using Node.js.
• Build RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support web and mobile applications.
• Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and sprint planning.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement robust monitoring and alerting.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous technical improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years of software development experience, with at least 3+ years in

  Node.js

  .
• Strong proficiency in

  JavaScript / TypeScript

  ,

  Express.js

  , and

  NestJS

  (preferred).
• Solid understanding of

  asynchronous programming

  ,

  event-driven design

  , and

  microservices architecture

  .
• Experience with

  MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB

  or other databases.
• Knowledge of

  Redis

  message queues (Kafka / RabbitMQ)

  , and

  caching strategies

• Familiarity with

  containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

  and

  cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)

• Strong foundation in

  data structures, algorithms, and system design

• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with

  CI/CD pipelines

  and DevOps workflows.
• Exposure to

  frontend frameworks

  (React / Angular / Vue).
• Knowledge of

  API security, authentication, and authorization (OAuth2, JWT)

• Experience working in
