You should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline along with 5+ years of relevant work experience. Your expertise should include proficiency in at least one programming language and technology stack, enabling you to write maintainable, scalable, and unit-tested code. As a senior member of the team, you are expected to possess core software engineering skills such as data structures, algorithms, and system design, while following best practices such as agile methodologies, TDD/BDD, and OOP principles. Your experience should encompass working on complex live projects and being able to apply insights gained from them. Additionally, advanced knowledge of Infrastructure, Kubernetes, AWS, or other cloud ecosystems, as well as experience in system design, distributed systems, and both relational and No-SQL databases, are required. Your responsibilities will include participating in requirements analysis, design, development, and testing of applications. You will engage in a culture of code reviews, write technical specifications, and collaborate closely with team members. Planning and designing complex projects efficiently, while delivering within estimated timeframes, will be crucial. You will be expected to advocate for and lead efforts towards creating an efficient product development environment that ensures smooth and high-quality releases. Providing guidance on software design strategies and methods will also be part of your role.
