SDE 2 - Frontend

Responsibilities

• Complete the ongoing app revamp (New Journey Flow) and launch web + TV compatibility.
• Establish a V0-first, iterative development culture and reduce dependency on perfect design specs.
• Improve sprint execution and team velocity; reduce blocked time.
• Lead migration from Redux to Redux Toolkit.
• Achieve 70%+ unit test coverage across major modules.
• Own the Playback feature (video timeline, components, download flow).
• Define clear patterns for Capacitor native plugin development and maintenance.
• Improve turnaround time for business requests (especially the PH market).
• Partner closely with Design, start with mocks, iterate directly in code.
• Own sprint cycles and ensure consistent, predictable delivery.
  

Requirments

• Expert in ReactJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with hybrid mobile development (Capacitor/Ionic or similar).
• Deep understanding of state management, especially Redux and Redux Toolkit.
• Experience building responsive apps across web, mobile, and TV.
• Familiarity with native plugin integration (maps, push notifications).
• Good understanding of testing frameworks (unit/integration/E2E).
• Awareness of backend fundamentals (Node.js, MongoDB) for cross-team collaboration.

• 1+ years mentoring or leading developers.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and best practices.
• Improve team processes and engineering velocity.
