Job Description

Ensure Functioning of Purchase and Stores Activities
Fulfillment to purchasing commitments.
Statutory & Regulatory compliance for purchased product
Evaluation, Selection and development of Suppliers.
Procurement of materials to specified requirements, receipt, storage and issue of incoming goods.
Monitoring & Analysis of Functional Objectives/Process Measures taking appropriate actions to improve them
Handling of NC parts as per NC Control Procedure
Ensure Kaizens are implemented in the dept
Ensure 5S is in place
Pro- Actively Work on Risk and Opportunity Analysis and Mitigation Plan accordingly
Supplier QMS Development
Responsible for outsourcing machining activities.
Ensure Good Supplier Overall Rating with proper action plan in case of Low Rating or Major NCs
Ensure availability of Skill Matrix and Competence Mapping of Team Members, Gap Analysis and Training Arrangements
