Overview
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Enterprise Architect Manager to join our Technology Strategy & Advisory team. This role is central to executing our clients' technology strategies and enabling business transformation. As an EA Manager, you will work closely with business and IT leaders to define and implement enterprise architecture roadmaps. You will be responsible for translating high-level business requirements into actionable architectural designs and ensuring alignment between various technology initiatives. This position requires a blend of hands-on architectural experience, strong project management skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership and Vision
Support the analysis of business and operating models, market trends, and technology disruptions to determine their impact on enterprise strategy and architecture.Support in formulating comprehensive enterprise architecture strategies and roadmaps that align with clients' business goals, focusing on revenue growth, cost optimization, risk mitigation, and sustainability.Provide guidance to clients on their technology landscape, including business capabilities, applications, data, and infrastructure.
Stakeholder Engagement and AlignmentFacilitate alignment between business and IT stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are in agreement on the architectural direction and priorities.Engage with product managers, product owners, and delivery teams to provide architectural guidance and ensure solutions are consistent with the enterprise architecture.Present architectural concepts and designs to technical and non-technical audiences, effectively communicating the value and implications of design decisions.
Enterprise Architecture Design and GovernanceOrchestrate the design of future-state enterprise architectures, addressing critical gaps and opportunities in the current IT environment.Define and implement enterprise architecture governance frameworks, standards, and principles to ensure consistency and alignment across various programs and projects.Drive the evolution of the EA team's services and operating model to deliver greater value to clients in an agile and collaborative manner.
Project and Team ManagementManage EA projects from initiation to completion, including scope, budget, and timeline.Support and mentor junior EA team members Consultants and analysts, helping them develop their skills and expertise.Contribute to the continuous improvement of the firm's EA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Skills and CompetenciesSolid knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman). Experience with various architectural domains, including application, data, and infrastructure architecture.Understanding of modern technology concepts, such as cloud computing, microservices, APIs, and data analytics. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Preferred ExperienceExperience working across industries such as Manufacturing, Retail, Healthcare, Financial Services, or Technology.Exposure to global projects and multi-geography implementations.Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to platform implementations.
Qualification
QualificationsEducation and ExperienceBachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in an enterprise or solution architecture role.Proven experience in defining and implementing enterprise architecture for medium to large-scale organizations.Experience in a consulting environment is highly desirable
