SAP Technical Consultant

Kodiva.ai is hiring an experienced SAP Technical Consultant for one of our GCC-based clients in pune. The selected candidate will play a key role in SAP technical development, system enhancements, and end-to-end solution delivery across multiple business functions.

You will collaborate with functional teams, architects, and project managers to build scalable customisations and integrations within the SAP landscape.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a SAP Technical Consultant based in Pune, India. The consultant will be responsible for analysing and optimising business processes, providing expert advice on SAP products and integration strategies, and ensuring seamless implementation and support of SAP solutions. Day-to-day tasks will include configuring, troubleshooting, and customising SAP systems to meet client-specific requirements while ensuring smooth integration with other systems.

Qualifications

• Expertise in SAP products and related functionalities, including integration processes, 5-8 years
• Strong consulting and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in business process analysis and optimisation
• Experience working with IDoc and system integration methodologies
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment
• Professional experience with SAP implementations and relevant certifications are a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom SAP applications using ABAP and related technologies.
• Design and implement OData services for SAP Fiori and other UI integrations.
• Create and manage SmartForms and Adobe Forms for business document generation.
• Integrate SAP systems with SAP BTP services and manage cloud-based extensions.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and coding standards.
• Document technical specifications and maintain solution documentation.
• Provide support for SAP upgrades, patches, and system enhancements.
