Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Support Analyst with a strong background in SAP modules relevant to the healthcare industry. The role will provide application support, troubleshoot issues, coordinate with end-users, and work closely with functional and technical teams to ensure smooth operations of SAP systems in alignment with healthcare compliance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Application Support & Issue Resolution

  • Provide Level 1–3 support for SAP modules (MM, SD, FI/CO, IS-H).
  • Diagnose and resolve functional, configuration, and integration issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitor incident queues and ensure SLAs are met.

2. Healthcare-Specific SAP Processes

  • Support

    SAP IS-H (Industry Solution for Healthcare)

    or equivalent for patient management, billing, and medical record integration.
  • Assist with integration to Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems, laboratory systems, and medical equipment interfaces.

3. Enhancements & Change Requests

  • Gather requirements from clinical, administrative, and finance departments.
  • Create functional specifications for SAP enhancements.
  • Test and validate new configurations, reports, and workflows.
  • Support rollouts and upgrades for healthcare-specific SAP modules.

4. Documentation & Training

  • Maintain up-to-date configuration and process documentation.
  • Prepare user guides and conduct training for hospital and healthcare staff.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or related field.

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of SAP functional support experience.
  • At least 2 years working in a

    healthcare or hospital IT environment is preferred

    .
  • Experience with SAP IS-H or integration to healthcare systems is highly desirable.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of SAP configuration and master data management.
  • Knowledge of healthcare business processes such as patient administration, billing, and medical record handling.
  • Familiarity with HL7 interfaces and healthcare interoperability standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-care–driven environment.
