  • SAP SuccessFactors data SME Role OverviewThe SAP SuccessFactors Data Migration SME is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the migration of data from legacy to SAP SuccessFactors. This role involves analysing existing data structures and ensuring that the data loaded into SuccessFactors is accurate, complete, and aligned with business needs. The SME will work closely with cross-functional teams including SuccessFactors implementation consultants, process leads, and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities1.Data Migration Planning StrategyoDevelop and implement data migration strategy, timelines, and roadmaps to SAP SuccessFactors. oConduct data mapping between legacy and SAP SuccessFactors, identifying differences in data models and aligning them with business requirements including the Job Architecture and OM transformation. oDefine and document data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes. 2.Data Extraction TransformationoWork closely with data owner teams to understand the existing data structures in SAP HCM e.g., GV. oAlign with country, GFCI, GBO and data owner to work on the Org management transformation between existing legacy to SF system. 3.Data Validation ReconciliationoConduct pre-migration validation checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity before migrating. oPerform post-migration data validation to confirm that data has been successfully migrated and loaded into the appropriate SuccessFactors modules. oReconcile data between SAP HCM and SuccessFactors to ensure completeness and accuracy. 4.Data Load ProcessoDevelop, execute, and monitor data loads into SuccessFactors, ensuring accuracy and integrity throughout the process. oManage iterative data loads during multiple testing cycles before the final production load. oTroubleshoot and resolve data load issues and errors as they arise. 5.Data Migration DocumentationoMaintain thorough documentation of data migration processes, including data load sequences, and validation procedures. oDocument any data mapping logic applied during the migration. 6.Collaboration with StakeholdersoCollaborate with Country, GBO, Data owners and SuccessFactors implementation teams, business process owners, and data governance teams. oCommunicate data migration progress, issues, and risks to project leadership and stakeholders. oCoordinate with SuccessFactors build team to get to ensure that any upcoming changes would be captured. 7.Testing UAT SupportoSupport various test phases incl. SIT/ADP UAT/UAT/PIT by providing test data and assisting with validation of migrated data. oImplement feedback from test phases (full replication) to improve data quality and rectify discrepancies. 8.Compliance Data GovernanceoEnsure that all data migration processes adhere to relevant data privacy and compliance regulations. oWork closely with the data governance team to ensure adherence to data security standards and data retention policies. 9.Post-Migration SupportoProvide post-migration support, including resolving any post-go-live data issues. oAssist end-users and GBO teams on SuccessFactors data models and data management processes in case of query. Skills and QualificationsExperienceo4+ years of experience in core HR module (preferably SAP HCM), with a focus on data migration. o3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors data migration. oProven track record of leading successful data migrations to various SuccessFactors modules e.g., EC, compensation etc. Technical Skills:
  • oExperience with SAP SuccessFactors data templates and import/export tools. oStrong understanding of data models in both SAP HCM and SuccessFactors. oExpertise in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools. oProficient in Excel for identifying data cleansing and validation issues. oFamiliarity with middleware and integration tools used in data migration (e.g., SAP CPI, Dell Boomi) but not mandatory.   • oStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. oExcellent communication skills and the ability to interact with business stakeholders and technical teams. oAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. oCollaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. CertificationsoSAP SuccessFactors Certification in applicable modules (EC, compensation, etc.). Key DeliverablesData migration plan and schedule. Data validation and reconciliation reports.
