SAP SD Lead

Senior SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Consultant

The successful candidate will play a key role in full-cycle SAP implementations, upgrades, and support activities. They should possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and implement SAP SD solutions based on business requirements.
• Gather and analyze business needs and translate them into SAP system configurations and functional specifications.
• Develop and maintain documentation including functional specs, process flows, and test cases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and other SAP consultants to ensure smooth integration across SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for SAP SD-related issues.
• Lead and participate in system testing, user training, and go-live support activities.
• Stay current on the latest SAP SD developments, best practices, and technologies.
• Conduct regular system audits and performance reviews to ensure optimal functioning.
• Guide and support the transition of knowledge to the Application Management Services (AMS) team.
• Assist in change management and the implementation of new features or enhancements in SAP SD.
• Ensure project deliverables are met within the defined timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP SD Consultant, with at least 2 full-cycle implementations.
• Strong configuration knowledge of SAP SD module (Order-to-Cash, Pricing, Billing, Shipping, etc.).
• Experience working with cross-functional modules such as MM, FICO, PP, or SM is a strong advantage.
• Sound understanding of business processes and integration points.
• Proficient in writing functional specifications and working with technical teams on custom developments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in working with global teams and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
