Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced SAP HANA Practice Head to lead our SAP HANA practice, drive strategy, build competency, oversee delivery, and support business development. This role requires deep SAP HANA expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong track record in managing end-to-end SAP implementations and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Practice Leadership & Strategy:

  • Define and drive the vision, roadmap, and growth strategy for the SAP HANA practice.
  • Establish best practices, frameworks, and accelerators for SAP HANA delivery and innovation.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align practice goals with organizational objectives.

People & Competency Management:

  • Build, mentor, and manage a team of SAP HANA professionals (consultants, architects, developers).
  • Identify skill gaps and organize regular training and certification programs.
  • Foster a high-performance culture and knowledge-sharing environment.

Solutioning & Pre-Sales:

  • Support pre-sales activities including RFP responses, solution architecture, and client presentations.
  • Design scalable, high-performance SAP HANA solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Develop reusable assets, demos, and proof-of-concepts to aid sales efforts.

Project Delivery Oversight:

  • Oversee successful delivery of SAP HANA projects (on-premise or cloud-based).
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
  • Engage with clients as a trusted advisor to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Innovation & Market Trends:

  • Stay updated on the latest SAP innovations (e.g., S/4HANA, SAP BTP, HANA Cloud).
  • Drive internal innovation projects and evaluate emerging tools & technologies.
  • Represent the organization at SAP events, webinars, and partner forums.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of SAP experience with at least 5+ years in SAP HANA technologies.
  • Proven track record in leading large SAP programs and practice development.
  • Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA, HANA modeling, HANA XS, SAP BTP, and data integration tools.
  • Strong understanding of SAP ecosystems including cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid deployments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Certifications:

  • SAP S/4HANA certification
  • SAP HANA Modeling / Technology certification
  • TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification (optional but preferred)
