SAP FICO Tester

What You Will Do

• Execute

  functional, regression, and integration testing

  for SAP FICO (FI + CO modules).
• Validate end-to-end processes across:

• FI:

  GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax, Period-End

• CO:

  Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing
• Review functional/technical specs and convert them into detailed test cases.
• Validate cross-module integrations (FICO–MM, SD, PP, HCM, etc.).
• Manage the entire defect lifecycle using JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Perform impact analysis for change requests, enhancements, and S/4HANA upgrades.
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants, developers, and automation engineers to drive

  Shift-Left testing

• Identify test scenarios suitable for SAP automation initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• 2–6 years

  of hands-on experience in

  SAP FICO testing

  .
• Strong understanding of FI submodules (GL, AR/AP, AA, Banking, Tax, Closing)

  and

  CO submodules (CCA, PCA, IO, COPA, Product Costing).
• Good understanding of SAP data flows, financial postings, and CO allocations.
• Experience creating test cases, test data, execution logs, and traceability.
• Clear understanding of integration touchpoints across SAP modules.
• Ability to read and interpret FS/BRD/Configuration documents.
• Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with

  SAP S/4HANA

  (Universal Journal, new asset accounting, margin analysis).
• Exposure to SAP automation tools (TOSCA, Tricentis, Worksoft, Leapwork, UIPath).
• Basic functional understanding of MM/SD/PP flows.
• API testing familiarity (Postman, REST tools).
• Knowledge of automation-first or CI/CD-driven testing approaches.
