Graphic & Web Designer

Total Shift Left is seeking a versatile Graphic and Web Designer to enhance our digital presence and visual storytelling. As a Graphic and Web Designer at Total Shift Left, you will take ownership of website design, maintenance, and visual brand assets, ensuring SEO and SCO optimization. This role requires a blend of creativity and technical proficiency, making it ideal for individuals who excel in dynamic startup environments. Key Responsibilities: Graphic Design: - Create engaging visuals for web, social media, blogs, marketing, and presentations. - Maintain brand consistency across digital assets. - Develop visual content for campaigns, events, and announcements. Website Design & Maintenance: - Manage and update company websites utilizing PHP and CMS platforms (WordPress, Joomla, etc.). - Design landing pages, enhance UI/UX, and update content. - Troubleshoot and resolve layout, functionality, or performance issues. CMS Management: - Regularly update website content such as blogs, service pages, and case studies. - Implement plug-ins, manage themes/templates, and handle basic hosting and backups. SEO & SCO Optimization: - Optimize websites for search engines through on-page and off-page techniques. - Collaborate with content writers to create SEO-friendly, performance-driven content. - Monitor keyword rankings, analytics, and implement strategies to improve visibility. Requirements: - Proficiency in graphic design tools (Adobe Suite, Canva, Figma, Illustrator, Image Ready). - Experience with PHP and CMS platforms, especially WordPress. - Strong understanding of SEO/SCO best practices. - Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush). - Attention to aesthetics and detail. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Nice to Have: - Experience with marketing automation tools. - Skills in video editing or motion graphics. - Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
