Hi, Role: SAP FI Tax Consultant Location: Remote Note: Mandatory Skills SAP FI TAX ONESOURCE and vertex Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 7+ years of experience in SAP FI, with at least 2+ years in tax integration (ONESOURCE/Vertex). Strong understanding of indirect taxes including sales tax, use tax, VAT, GST, etc. Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA. Familiarity with SAP SD/MM tax determination is a plus. Experience with SAP interfaces/middleware (e.g., PI/PO, CPI, IDocs, or APIs). Knowledge of global tax compliance requirements is highly preferred. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Responsibilities: Lead and support the integration of SAP FI with ONESOURCE and/or Vertex for indirect tax automation and compliance. Configure and support tax codes, tax jurisdiction structures, condition techniques, and tax procedures in SAP. Coordinate with tax teams to ensure accurate tax determination and reporting in alignment with global tax regulations. Manage and troubleshoot SAP–ONESOURCE and SAP–Vertex interface issues. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless API/web service or batch file-based integration. Analyze business requirements and provide functional specifications for technical development and enhancements. Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT. Maintain documentation and provide training/support to business users. Monitor and resolve issues related to tax calculation errors, interface failures, and data integrity. Ensure compliance with tax regulations for various countries (US, EU, LATAM, APAC, etc.). Participate in SAP upgrades, patching, and tax software updates.
