SAP CPI Consultant - AMS Support

Role & Responsibilities

• The candidate will be responsible for providing end-to-end support, incident management, and continuous improvements in SAP CPI interfaces and integrations.
• The role demands strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving capabilities to ensure seamless system operations across multiple SAP applications.
• Provide AMS support for SAP CPI integrations between SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, Ariba, C4C, and third-party systems.
• Monitor CPI interfaces, handle incident management, and perform root cause analysis for failed or delayed integrations.
• Manage and resolve tickets within SLA timelines, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Perform error handling, troubleshooting, and configuration adjustments within the CPI tenant.
• Work with iFlows, adapters (SOAP, REST, OData, SFTP, IDoc, etc.), and value mappings to maintain and enhance existing integrations.
• Collaborate with functional consultants (FI, MM, SD, HR, etc.) to identify data mapping and integration issues.
• Apply change requests, manage transport movement between tenants (Development ? QA ? Production).
• Ensure interface documentation, landscape diagrams, and configuration steps are properly maintained.
• Participate in system upgrades, CPI version updates, and integration testing (SIT, UAT).
• Identify automation opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support integration monitoring tools like SAP Cloud ALM or Solution Manager for alerting and proactive maintenance.
• Coordinate with SAP and other vendors for OSS note implementation and support package updates.
• Strong experience in SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) and SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform).
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining iFlows using CPI WebUI.
• Good understanding of XML, JSON, XSLT, and Groovy Scripts.
• Expertise in API Management, OData, and RESTful services.
• Familiarity with authentication methods like OAuth2.0, SAML, Basic Auth, and Certificates.
• Exposure to IDocs, RFC, ABAP Proxies, and Web Services integration.
• Experience in Integration Suite monitoring, Cloud Connector, and SAP Gateway.
• Knowledge of S/4HANA and integration points with SAP cloud products
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Good client-facing and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently in a global support environment.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
