Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement SAP Build Work Zone solutions integrated with S/4HANA Public Cloud
• Configure Work Zone components such as:
• Home and workspace pages
• UI Integration cards
• Tiles, roles, and catalogs
• Navigation and access to SAP Fiori apps, third-party apps, and external content
• Integrate Work Zone with:
• SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (via Fiori Launchpad content)
• SAP SuccessFactors, Ariba, BTP apps, and other systems
• SAP Task Center and SAP Process Automation for workflow integration
• Develop custom UI cards using SAP UI5, SAP Build Apps, or SAP BTP SDKs
• Manage role-based access control, user groups, and workspace personalization
• Support branding and theming to match corporate UX standards
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to define Work Zone use cases
• Enable content federation and launchpad service for central entry points
• Ensure compliance with SAP Clean Core and Public Cloud extensibility standards
• Provide knowledge transfer and end-user training for Work Zone usage
  

Core Competencies

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of SAP experience, with 2+ years hands-on in SAP BTP and Work Zone
• Strong understanding of SAP Build Work Zone (standard or advanced edition) architecture
• Familiarity with Fiori Launchpad, SAP Content Federation, and Cloud Identity Services
• Experience integrating S/4HANA Public Cloud tiles/content with Work Zone
• Knowledge of SAP Task Center, SAP Process Automation, or SAP Build Apps is a plus
  

Technical Skills

• Basic development in SAP UI5, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript (for card customization)
• Experience with SAP BTP subaccount, spaces/pages, and SAP Launchpad Service
• Knowledge of OData, REST APIs, and Single Sign-On (SSO) mechanisms
• Experience with SAP Cloud Identity Authentication (IAS) and Identity Provisioning (IPS)
  

Certifications

• Preferred:
• SAP Certified Associate – SAP Build Work Zone Implementation
• SAP Certified Development Associate – BTP Extension Developer
  

Soft Skills

• Strong UX and UI design sensibility
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Proactive in identifying UX improvements
• Ability to work in agile delivery teams

• Language: Fluent English (mandatory); other languages are a plus
• Travel: Occasional
• Experience in public cloud implementation projects is mandatory
