SAP BTP Integration Suite Developer (Remote)

Overview

We are seeking a hands-on SAP Integration Suite Developer to design, build, and optimize integrations using SAP Integration Suite (formerly SAP Cloud Platform Integration Suite) to connect SAP and non-SAP systems. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a practical, delivery-focused mindset and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across on-premises and cloud environments.

What will you do ?

• Design, develop, test, and maintain integration flows and adapters using SAP Integration Suite (iFlow design, integration packs, integration flow orchestration, and mapping).
• Build and expose APIs and services to enable SAP and non-SAP system integrations; implement API management, security, and lifecycle governance.
• Create robust data mappings and transformations (XML, JSON, CSV, XSLT) and implement message routing, error handling, retries, and idempotency.
• Configure and manage adapters for SAP systems (IDoc, RFC, BAPI) and non-SAP endpoints (HTTP/S, REST, OData, SOAP, JMS, JMS-based queues).
• Collaborate with SAP Functional Analysts, Enterprise Architecture, Data Management, and Security to ensure solutions meet business requirements and governance standards.
• Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting for integration flows; troubleshoot and resolve production issues with efficient root-cause analysis.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for integrations, including version control, automated tests, and deployment automation.
• Create technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Stay current with SAP Integration Suite capabilities, best practices, and security/compliance requirements.

What we are looking for ?

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience considered.
• 3–6 years of hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite or equivalent cloud integration platforms.
• Proficiency in designing and building integration flows (iFlows) within SAP Integration Suite.
• Experience with API management concepts, security (OAuth, TLS, SAML), and API lifecycle governance.
• Strong data transformation and mapping skills (XML, JSON, CSV; XSLT experience a plus).
• Familiarity with SAP and non-SAP integration patterns (IDoc/RFC/BAPI, REST, OData, SOAP, events, file-based).
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and incident management; basic familiarity with cloud-native deployment models and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Good to have/Nice to have :

• Experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) or SAP Integration Suite in multiple cloud environments (SAP BTP, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• SAP certifications related to integration or SAP CPI.
• Scripting or programming knowledge (JavaScript, Groovy, Java) to implement custom logic in flows.
• Understanding of security concepts in cloud integrations (OAuth 2.0, SSO, SAML, PKCE).
