Job Title: SAP BASIS Consultant Location: Gurugram Experience Required: 5–8 Years Notice Period: 1 month Employment Type: Full-time / Contract (as applicable) Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled SAP BASIS Consultant with 5–8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of SAP environments, ensuring optimal system performance, availability, and security. You will play a key role in managing system landscapes and supporting critical business functions. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and upgrade SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, etc.). Manage the SAP transport system and perform system copies. Conduct daily system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Apply patches, SAP Notes, and kernel upgrades. Administer user access, roles, and authorizations. Coordinate system refreshes and backups with DB and OS teams. Manage RFCs, web dispatchers, and third-party integrations. Ensure high availability, security compliance, and disaster recovery readiness. Document all configuration changes and operational procedures. Required Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with SAP BASIS on ECC and S/4HANA platforms. Proficient in SAP installation, configuration, and maintenance. Experience with HANA DB, Oracle, or MS SQL databases. Good understanding of SAP NetWeaver architecture. Familiarity with Transport Management System (TMS) and CTS+. Working knowledge of OS administration (Linux/Unix/Windows). Experience with SAP Solution Manager and system monitoring tools. Preferred Skills: Exposure to SAP Fiori, Gateway, and Web Dispatcher. Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for SAP hosting. SAP BASIS certification (Associate/Professional) is a plus. Experience in system migrations and cloud-based deployments. At least 2 migrations done from ECC to S4/Hana Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation ability. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Client-facing experience preferred. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
