SAM Analyst

Location- Bangalore (Hebbal-local candidate is preference)

Experience- 2-2.5 yrs

Mode- 5 days at client location

Skills required- Core technical knowledge on SNOW tool.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the successful installation, integration, and deployment of SAM Platform (preferably SNOW) and solutions in various production and non-production environments
• Install SAM Platform with the infrastructure teams, and report application metrics with the goal of preventing non-compliance and improving IT effectiveness
• Provide Design and Architecture expertise in terms of SNOW infrastructure requirements and software configurations.
• Analyse reported incidents and problems for the applications, assessing patterns, making recommendations, and implementing fixes.
• Prepares and maintains technical documentation to assist with the operation, maintenance, and development of the SAM Platform
• Creates and executes application and system test procedures after tools implementation
• Identifies critical business transactions and implement tools to manage alert and response
• Day-to-Day use of the tool operation and tool optimization.
• Work with the Level 2 teams and Snow support to troubleshoot and understand system faults.
• Develop, support, and manage complex Alerts, Reports, and Views
• Ability to troubleshoot to effectively solve problems, using knowledge, experience, logic, and independent judgment consistent with standards, practices, policies, and procedures.
• Identifies opportunities for streamlining processes through automation
• Lead implementation of tools and monitoring
• Manage and ensure Security remediation Implementation for all findings
• Lead problem Management and resolution around SAM Platform
• Provide Instrumentation for proactive diagnostic insight into the health of applications
• Create systems for error handling, and logging
• End-to-end ownership of managing the tools application and ensured the on-time updates, hotfix & upgrades done

Knowledge and Skills

• At-least 4/5 years of Installation, maintenance, and working knowledge of SAM tools Snow, Flexera, and equivalent.
• Working knowledge of the holistic monitoring of applications with drill-down on the SAM Platform layers (infra, data, middleware, apps, etc.)
• Basic Knowledge of Server, Cloud, Virtualization, Database, Network, Containers Administration.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Good to have -

• Knowledge of other infra & application tools will be a plus
• Dashboard & Reporting tools working knowledge
• Basic understanding of modern software development tools and SCM (software configuration management)
• Automation & Integration tools knowledge such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Jenkins, etc
• Strong knowledge of the Networking domain
• Strong knowledge of Windows & Linux OS administration and Database administration
