Build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations.
Conduct Gap, Compliance and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) based on DPDPA, GDPR and international privacy laws
Develop and maintain data maps and inventories to ensure compliance with privacy regulations
Monitor compliance with privacy standards and assist in delivering training programs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate privacy requirements and best practices
Implement and maintain privacy-enhancing technologies, including data masking, encryption, and anonymization
Maintain and update Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) as part of client advisory engagements.
Lead with integrity to build inclusion and motivation within teams.
Leverage data to recommend impactful approaches and solutions through analysis and visualization
Manage engagement(s) to ensure timely and proactive execution as well as course correction for success
Deliver high quality results and mitigate risks with utmost integrity and precision
Apply strategic mindset to solve business issues and complex problems
Leverage ethical technology practices to deliver high impact for clients

Requirements

Experience:

Minimum 3 to 5 years (preferably 4-6 years) of exposure to Data Privacy and protection

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB, LLM), BTech, MTech, or MCA

Certifications (Preferred):

CIPT/CIPM/CIPPE/CDPSE/OneTrust
ISO 27001/ISO 42001/ISO 27701
IAPP, ISACA certifications on Data Privacy

Skills and Knowledge:

In-depth knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, particularly the Personal Data Protection Bill in India
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Commercial acumen and strategic thinking capabilities
Managing change and responding to changing environments with resilience
