The Salesforce QA Team Lead is responsible for managing the QA team focused on Salesforce applications. This role bridges technical expertise with leadership to ensure that Salesforce software meets business requirements and quality standards throughout the software development life cycle. It involves hands-on involvement in test planning and execution, as well as mentoring team members and collaborating across departments to drive continuous improvement.
What you'll do:
- Lead and mentor the QA team to ensure effective performance, motivation, and skill development.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans tailored for Salesforce applications, including manual and automated testing.
- Coordinate with developers, product managers, and business collaborators to clarify requirements and align testing efforts with project goals.
- Oversee the execution of functional, regression, performance, and security testing to identify and resolve defects promptly.
- Manage test environments and configurations, ensuring they reflect real-world use cases and leverage Salesforce-specific tooling.
- Analyze and report test results and quality metrics, facilitating informed decisions on software readiness.
- Drive continuous improvement by introducing new QA processes, automation tools, and standard methodologies.
- Contribute to release planning, risk assessment, and post-release analysis to minimize post-deployment issues.
- Stay updated with Salesforce platform updates and emerging QA trends to enhance testing effectiveness.
