Salesforce Order Management (OMS) and Omni-Channel Inventory (OCI) Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and support

    Salesforce Order Management (OMS)

    for end-to-end order lifecycle: capture, orchestration, fulfilment, payment, and returns.
  • Manage

    Omni-Channel Inventory (OCI)

    setup including product availability, location groups, and ATP (Available-to-Promise) logic.
  • Monitor and maintain

    integrations

    between Salesforce OMS/OCI and external systems (ERP, Commerce Cloud, fulfilment, logistics).
  • Handle

    L1, L2/L3 production support

    , incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
  • Ensure

    real-time inventory feeds

    and data sync across multiple sales channels.
  • Develop and maintain

    API-based integrations

    (REST/SOAP, OIC, OSB).
  • Collaborate with Commerce, ERP, and Logistics teams to resolve order and fulfilment issues.
  • Participate in

    release planning, testing, and documentation

    .
  • Implement automation, alerts, and monitoring for OMS operations.

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in

    Salesforce OMS

    configuration and order lifecycle processes.
  • Expertise in

    Salesforce Omni-Channel Inventory (OCI)

    setup, APIs, and location group management.
  • Experience with

    Salesforce Flows

    , Order Summaries, Fulfilment Orders, and Service Levels.
  • Knowledge of

    appeasements, cancellations, reshipments, and returns

    within OMS.
  • Experience integrating with

    Oracle ERP

    and other fulfilment systems using APIs or middleware (OIC / OSB).
  • Exposure to

    Salesforce B2C Commerce (SFRA)

    or Service Cloud order capture flows is preferred.
  • Good understanding of

    API monitoring, platform events

    , and integration troubleshooting.

Preferred Certifications

  • Salesforce Order Management Accredited Professional (OMS AP)
  • Salesforce Omni-Channel Inventory Accredited Professional (OCI AP)
