Salesforce Developer

Job Title: Salesforce Engineer (OmniStudio)

Location: Chennai

Work Mode: Hybrid – 4 Days Work from Office (WFO)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions using

  OmniStudio components

  including

  FlexCards, OmniScripts, Integration Procedures

  , and

  DataRaptors

  .
• Build scalable and reusable solutions using

  Apex

  ,

  Lightning Web Components (LWC)

  , and

  Aura Components

  .
• Develop and maintain

  custom Salesforce components and user interfaces

  , integrating with backend systems using

  Salesforce APIs

  ,

  JSON

  , and

  SOAP web services

  .
• Collaborate with Ford IT and development teams to integrate Salesforce across various business functions.
• Take ownership of the

  release cycle

  , ensuring smooth deployments and version control.
• Maintain

  comprehensive documentation

  , write and maintain

  unit tests

  , and adhere to

  Salesforce coding standards and best practices

  .
• Ensure platform performance, maintainability, and long-term scalability.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
• Drive and support

  agile development methodologies

  and participate in sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum

  5+ years of experience

  in software development, including

  Salesforce multi-cloud architecture

  .
• Strong hands-on experience with:

• Salesforce OmniStudio (Vlocity)

  – FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures.

• Apex (classes, triggers)

  .

• Lightning Web Components (LWC)

  and

  Aura Components

  .

• Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP)

  and

  system integrations

  .
• Proven experience developing and deploying managed packages.
• Ability to write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code.
• Experience working within a structured development environment and following DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Salesforce certifications

  – at least

  2 certifications preferred

  (e.g.,

  Salesforce Developer

  ,

  OmniStudio Developer

  ).
• Proficiency in

  web development technologies

  (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with

  Agile methodologies
