About the Role

Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain

  SFCC (Demandware)

  B2C Commerce features, pipelines, controllers, cartridges, and ISML templates.
• Build scalable and reusable components using

  SFRA

  , JavaScript, and Demandware scripts.
• Integrate SFCC with third-party systems (payment gateways, OMS, ERP, CRM, analytics, etc.).
• Customize and extend Salesforce Commerce Cloud’s platform capabilities to meet business requirements.
• Optimize site performance, caching, SEO, and page load times for high-volume commerce traffic.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues across backend and frontend commerce flows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams — UX, PM, QA, Architects — to deliver high-quality features.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and best practice enforcement.
• Ensure compliance with

  SFCC standards

  , security guidelines, and deployment processes.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience

  in eCommerce development, with

  5+ years specifically in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware)

  .
• Strong proficiency in:

• SFRA framework

• Demandware Script / JavaScript

• ISML templates

• Pipelines / Controllers / Jobs / Services

• Expertise in

  custom cartridge development

  and integration patterns.
• Solid understanding of

  REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and third-party integrations

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  HTML, CSS, jQuery, JSON

  , and frontend optimization within SFCC.
• Deep knowledge of

  eCommerce workflows

  (catalog, pricing, promotions, checkout, inventory, order lifecycle).
• Experience with version control tools (Git/Bitbucket) and CI/CD processes.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization, caching strategies, and debugging tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Commerce Cloud

  Developer

  or

  Architect certification

• Experience with

  Headless Commerce

• Knowledge of
