Training Duration:

If you're hungry to build a career in EdTech sales and student counseling, this program is a solid place to begin. BIA is offering a structured 2-month Sales Trainee program where you’ll be trained to become a high-performing Academic Counselor. You’ll learn how to guide students, handle inquiries, close admissions, and manage the full sales funnel inside one of India’s most respected analytics education brands. This hands-on training gives you real experience with leads, conversions, presentations, and student career guidance. Once you complete the program successfully, you’ll be offered a full-time Academic Counselor position with a 7 LPA package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Qualification and First-Level Counseling

You’ll interact with students who enquire through calls, WhatsApp, website forms, and social channels. The idea is to understand their academic background, interests, and career goals so you can guide them toward the right program. This early conversation sets the tone for the full admissions cycle and helps filter high-potential leads.

  • Explaining Courses and Career Opportunities

Students will often come without clarity about what to pursue. You’ll break down BIA’s programs in Data Science, AI, Cybersecurity, Digital Marketing, Investment Banking, and other tech domains in a simple, relatable way. You’ll walk them through course curriculum, skills taught, fees, EMI options, placements, and how each program supports specific career paths.

  • Driving the End-to-End Admissions Process

A major part of your role is helping students complete their admission journey smoothly. This includes assisting with applications, collecting mandatory documents, scheduling interviews, guiding payment stages, and updating status in CRM. The goal is to reduce friction, answer concerns, and move every lead closer to enrollment.

  • Follow-Ups and Conversion Activities

You’ll handle structured follow-ups for warm leads, nurture undecided students, and build trust through clear communication. Effective objection handling, relationship building, and timely responses will help you convert more admissions and meet your monthly enrollment targets.

  • Conducting Counseling Sessions and Presentations

From one-to-one calls to Zoom meetings and walk-in sessions, you’ll explain the value of BIA’s programs energetically and confidently. You may be part of webinars, info sessions, and short presentations where students expect clarity on placements, salaries, industry demand, and job outcomes.

  • Maintaining Accurate CRM and Daily Reports

Every interaction, update, or follow-up goes into the CRM. Staying disciplined with tracking ensures you never miss a lead, appointment, or deadline. You’ll submit daily task sheets, conversion updates, and follow-up reports that help the admissions team optimize the full funnel.

  • Building Trust With Students and Parents

You’ll often be the first point of contact for families evaluating career options. Your job is to build comfort, clear doubts, and provide honest, practical guidance. Strong rapport and trust lead to higher conversions and long-term student satisfaction.

  • Staying Updated on EdTech Trends and Job Market Insights

Students expect counselors to know the latest on AI jobs, data analytics roles, cybersecurity demand, and hiring patterns. You’ll keep yourself updated so your guidance stays relevant, credible, and aligned with industry expectations.

  • Collaborating With Marketing and Admissions Teams

You’ll work closely with the marketing team by sharing feedback on lead quality, campaign performance, student behavior, and common questions asked by prospects. This helps refine marketing strategies and boosts the overall enrollment success rate.

  • Representing BIA Professionally

Every call, message, or meeting shapes the student’s perception of BIA. You’ll maintain strong communication etiquette, quick response times, and a helpful attitude. Professionalism is key to building trust and driving successful admissions.
