Sales Technology Analyst

As a Technical Estimation Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to estimation, proposals, technical submittals, commercial exposure, and contributing to regional technical preferences. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Estimation: - Conducting input studies and generating RFIs - Performing HVAC equipment take-off - Preparing IO summaries and DDC controller sizing - Selecting field devices and valves - Creating cable schedules - Costing and preparing BOQ - Proposals: - Studying specifications and determining inclusion/exclusion lists - Addressing technical qualifications, assumptions, and deviations - Technical Submittals: - Developing system architecture and control schematics - Ensuring specification compliance based on regional requirements - Creating floor risers - Commercial Exposure: - Managing vendors - Dealing with taxations - Contributing to: - Tracking regional technical preferences - Applying knowledge of Honeywell products to develop solutions - Establishing and standardizing new processes for cost optimization and cycle time reduction - Performing quality checks for jobs - Applying sound knowledge of business processes and systems Your qualifications for this role should include: - BE in a related discipline, preferably Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Electrical Engineering - Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in a relevant field - Exposure to Building Management Systems (BMS) - Flexibility in working hours to meet deadlines - Knowledge of pre-sales processes - Ability to manage jobs and projects to standards and budgets - Value engineered approach in deliverables - Competency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word In addition to the technical skills required, we are looking for someone with the following behavioral skills: - Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English - Ability to prioritize tasks according to timelines - Strong stakeholder management skills - Effective communication and presentation skills, including content writing - Application of learnings in day-to-day tasks - Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task - Strong commitment to achieving results - Excellent problem-solving skills and understanding of the impacts of actions About Us: Honeywell helps organizations solve complex challenges in automation, aviation, and energy transition.
