As a Estimation Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for implementing robust estimation processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality and cost-competitive bids that align with the regional sales targets of our organization. Your expertise will play a crucial role in contributing to the success of our business. Your technical skills will be put to the test as you engage in various tasks such as input studies, generation of RFI's, HVAC equipment take-off, preparation of IO summaries, DDC controller sizing, field device selection, BOQ preparation, costing, valve selection, and cable scheduling. You will also be involved in studying specifications, creating inclusion/exclusion lists, technical qualifications/assumptions/deviations, and preparing technical submittals in accordance with regional requirements. Your commercial exposure will be essential as you manage vendors, handle taxations, contribute to the regional technical preferences on estimations, and utilize your knowledge of Honeywell products to develop customer-centric solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing quality checks, establishing new processes for cost optimization and cycle time reduction, and ensuring compliance with business processes and systems. To qualify for this role, you should hold a BE in a related discipline, preferably Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Electrical Engineering, with a minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in the relevant field. Exposure to Building Management Systems (BMS), flexibility in working hours to meet deadlines, pre-sales process knowledge, project management skills, a value-engineered approach, and proficiency in MS Office (Excel & Word) are all essential qualifications for this position. We are looking for a Senior Application Engineer to work with our North American Team. This role is responsible for providing independent engineering support for Control valve and Regulators to both the dedicated and non-dedicated impact partner assigned accounts for any project related enquiries. Perform Sizing and selection of control valves using proprietary FisherFirst2 software. Prepare Technical and Commercial Quote, technical deviations list, generate reports, drawings. Contact GIS teams for any technical/special price requirements. This role will work independently to support the inside sales network in the North America region. You will be responsible for working with Industry sales team and Product engineers on finalizing solutions for severe service applications in process industry. Senior Mechanical Engineer (HVAC/MVAC/P&D for Water/Wastewater/Desalination) 5 to 10 Years of experience in wastewater/water industry. Awareness of pipe network design codes Experience in designing various mechanical components of wastewater treatment systems like ASP, MBBR, SBR, MBR, Digesters, Solids Handling systems, etc. Experience in designing Water Treatment systems including conventional and advance system (e.g., desalination systems). Experience leading the team on various design tasks/deliverables like- Developing the design of Wastewater Treatment Plants (including Sludge Treatment facilities and Odour Control facilities) and Water and Wastewater Networks. Water and wastewater mechanical equipment sizing and selection: Screens, Mixers, Conveyors, Sludge Thickeners and Centrifuges, Chemical dosing systems, etc. Preparing hydraulic calculations for pressurized/gravity systems. Pump and fan sizing/selection. Valve selection (including penstocks). Pipe sizing and material selection. Developing concept design, detail design, tender, and construction documentation in accordance with both, schedule, and budget. Preparing and reviewing design documents e.g., calculations, datasheets, specifications, pipe, and valve schedules. Supervision of 3d modeling and 2d drawing preparation.
