Job Description

A Sales Team Leader's job is to manage, motivate, and develop a sales team to achieve sales targets by setting goals, providing coaching, implementing strategies, and analysing performance. Key responsibilities include setting strategic plans, monitoring sales activities, resolving escalations, training representatives, and collaborating with other departments like marketing to drive revenue growth and foster a positive, results-driven sales environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Team Management & Motivation: Lead, coach, and motivate sales representatives to meet or exceed targets, fostering a collaborative and results-focused culture.
  • Strategic Planning & Goal Setting: Develop and implement sales strategies, set team and individual goals, and create plans to expand the customer base.
  • Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Monitor team performance, analyze sales data and market trends, and provide regular feedback and coaching for improvement.
  • Training & Development: Train, onboard, and develop new and existing sales representatives to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and resolve escalated customer issues.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with other departments, such as marketing and product, to align strategies and ensure successful execution.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present sales reports to senior management, keeping stakeholders updated on progress and performance.
