Pocketful is a growing stock broking platform committed to simplifying investing and offering a smooth, transparent user experience. We are expanding our sales function and looking for a motivated Sales Team Lead to contribute to our growth story.


Job Summary

The Sales Team Lead will be responsible for driving revenue, managing a team of sales executives, and supporting client acquisition through Demat account openings. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in the stock broking industry and strong leadership capabilities.


Key Roles & Responsibilities

Team Management & Leadership

• Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of sales executives.

• Set daily/weekly targets and track performance.

• Provide training, guidance, and support to improve team productivity.

• Conduct performance reviews and maintain a high-performing sales culture.


Sales Execution & Revenue Growth

• Drive revenue generation through client acquisition and cross-selling.

• Ensure achievement of monthly revenue and account opening targets.

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies for higher conversion.

• Identify growth opportunities and support the team in closing leads.


Demat Account Opening & Onboarding

• Oversee the complete Demat account opening process.

• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance for all new accounts.

• Support clients in understanding KYC, onboarding steps, and trading basics.

• Collaborate with KYC/back-office teams to ensure timely account activation.


Client Relationship Management

• Manage key clients and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Address client concerns related to brokerage, onboarding, or trading.

• Promote Pocketful’s offerings, plans, and investment tools.


Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in the stock broking industry (mandatory).

• Strong understanding of Demat/trading account processes.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and team-handling skills.

• Ability to meet revenue targets and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of equity markets, trading platforms, and compliance norms.
