Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, empower, and actively manage a team of sales professionals to consistently exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and campaigns targeted at capturing market share in the pet care sector.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, optimize team effectiveness, and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Act as a mentor and coach, providing real-time feedback, hands-on training, and targeted upskilling to team members.
  • Support and participate in high-stakes client meetings, guide negotiations, and ensure successful deal closures.
  • Coordinate the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of new sales talent in line with company values and growth plans.
  • Foster a high-performance team culture that values accountability, learning, and collaboration.
  • Liaise cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer support departments to ensure unified brand messaging and seamless customer journeys.
  • Compile and present detailed sales metrics, performance reports, and forecasts to senior management, contributing to strategic business decisions.
  • Identify market opportunities, competitor movements, and customer needs to drive continuous product and strategy innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree

    from a recognized institution.
  • 3–5 years of successful sales experience; prior exposure to retail, FMCG, or the pet industry is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing sales teams and driving strong performance.
  • Intellectual sharpness, adaptability, and problem-solving ability.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • A proven record of taking initiative and independently delivering results under tight deadlines.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite and sales CRM platforms.
  • Ability and willingness to work from Gurugram or relocate as needed.
