Job Description: Solar Sales (EPC)

Role Overview

Alligator Energies is looking for a motivated and result-driven Solar Sales Professional for our Nagpur operations. The role focuses on business development and sales of Solar EPC projects across Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and institutional segments.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and manage leads for C&I and rooftop solar EPC projects in Nagpur and Vidarbha region.
• Develop relationships with industrial clients, commercial establishments, and institutions.
• Conduct client meetings, site visits, and requirement analysis.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, and finance teams for feasibility studies and proposals.
• Prepare and present techno-commercial proposals, bids, and tenders.
• Negotiate commercial terms and close Solar EPC projects.
• Track local market trends, government policies, and competitor activity.
• Ensure smooth project handover from sales to execution teams.
• Maintain CRM records and periodic sales reports.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Hands-on experience in Solar EPC sales (CAPEX / OPEX / PPA models).
• Knowledge of rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
• Ability to understand technical drawings, BOQs, and financial models (basic).
• Target-oriented with strong follow-up discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Management or equivalent.
• MBA (Sales / Marketing) preferred.
