Sales Project Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in project cargo logistics. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our project cargo division. Your primary focus will be to ensure the efficient and successful execution of complex logistics projects, from planning through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, in coordination with clients and internal teams.
2. Logistics Coordination: Coordinate all aspects of project cargo logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and customs clearance.
3. Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of logistics professionals, ensuring that all team members are aligned with project objectives and deadlines.
4. Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors, subcontractors, and partners to ensure the availability of necessary resources.
5. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges related to project cargo operations and develop mitigation strategies.
6. Quality Control: Implement quality control processes to ensure that project cargo meets the highest standards of safety and compliance.
7. Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or inquiries.
8. Cost Control: Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
9. Documentation: Oversee the preparation of all necessary documentation, including bills of lading, permits, and customs documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in project cargo logistics or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and customs procedures.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools for project management and logistics.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations in the logistics industry.
• Certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
