Job Description

As a Sales and Marketing professional in our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve corporate objectives for our products and services. You will lead and mentor a team of sales and marketing professionals, ensuring goal alignment and high team performance. Additionally, you will identify new market opportunities, analyze customer needs, and track competitor strategies to fine-tune our offerings. Building and maintaining strong client relationships to maximize customer retention and satisfaction will be a key aspect of your role. Your responsibilities will also include developing and executing campaigns to generate leads and convert them into long-term business partnerships. You will collaborate with our R&D and engineering teams to ensure product-market fit and customer-centric solutions. Leading commercial negotiations to close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and profitability, will be crucial in this role. To be successful in this position, you should have at least 7-10 years of experience in B2B sales and marketing, preferably in the manufacturing or engineering industry. Experience with industrial automation or capital equipment is a strong plus. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related) with an MBA in Marketing or Business Management is required. The position is based in Pune, Maharashtra. The compensation offered will be competitive and based on your experience and industry standards. We are open to candidates of any gender within the age range of 30 to 40 years. You will report to the Director of Sales and Strategy. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in managing regional or national level sales teams and exposure to international markets. Some core competencies and special skills required for this role include strong leadership and team management skills, a deep understanding of industrial sales cycles and buyer behavior, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in CRM tools and digital marketing platforms, strong analytical and decision-making abilities, willingness to travel as required (domestic and international), a proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, and strategic thinking with a customer-first approach.
