Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to grow ad revenue in the Kolkata market.
• Identify and acquire new clients—local businesses, agencies, and corporate accounts.
• Promote and sell the advertisement solutions across print and digital platforms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing advertisers to ensure repeat business.
• Monitor competition and local market trends to stay ahead in the regional media space.
• Coordinate closely with ad operations, editorial, and billing teams for smooth execution.
• Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports to senior leadership.

Candidate Requirements:

• Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Marketing is an advantage)
• 3 –10 years of sales experience in  Newspaper industry
• Strong network of potential clients in corporate, government, or institutional sectors
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage regional sales operations
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Willingness to travel locally and inter-city as needed
