Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and technically sound Sales & Application Engineer to drive business growth by identifying opportunities, designing automation solutions, and delivering exceptional pre- and post-sales support. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities and project coordination. Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities in the field of industrial automation and control systems. Understand client requirements and recommend suitable automation solutions. Select appropriate products (automation, electrical, stored power, etc.) to meet control system needs. Prepare detailed techno-commercial proposals including Bill of Materials (BOM), system designs, and costings. Negotiate commercial terms with customers to secure orders. Coordinate with internal engineering and purchase departments for smooth project execution. Provide product demonstrations and technical consultations to clients. Ensure timely documentation, invoicing, and payment collection. Promote products and solutions through presentations, meetings, and events with OEMs, EPCs, consultants, and end users. Offer pre-sales and post-sales support including troubleshooting, user training, and AMC services. Manage workshop activities and ensure timely servicing, repairs, and dispatches. Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and build strong customer relationships. Travel extensively for client visits, site support, installations, and demonstrations. Required Qualifications & Skills: Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. Minimum 4–7 years of experience in technical sales or automation project execution. Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems and components. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to read and create basic system drawings/schematics. Self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to work independently. Other Requirements: Own a two-wheeler (mandatory). Driving license for four-wheeler (preferred). Valid passport (preferred).
