We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Technician to install, maintain, and repair solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential, commercial, or industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, hands-on installation experience, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Install, inspect, maintain, and repair solar PV systems. Assemble solar panels, mounting systems, and inverters. Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints. Perform electrical wiring, conduit installation, and connection of solar components. Troubleshoot system issues and perform diagnostics on underperforming systems. Conduct routine maintenance, performance testing, and cleaning of solar panels. Ensure systems comply with local and national electrical codes. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used. Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or associate’s degree in electrical or renewable energy preferred. 1–3 years of experience in solar installation or electrical work. Working knowledge of photovoltaic systems and components. Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. Familiarity with tools and equipment used in solar installation. NABCEP certification (preferred but not required). Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various outdoor conditions, including on rooftops. The role requires both technical knowledge and hands-on experience in troubleshooting, repair, and operational oversight. Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor equipment or facility systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical, HVAC, utilities, production lines). Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality and minimal downtime. Conduct inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of equipment and systems. Maintain records of operations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Respond promptly to equipment faults or failures and perform necessary repairs or escalations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and address operational issues. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards and regulations. Support energy-saving initiatives and continuous improvement activities. Assist with inventory control of maintenance materials, tools, and spare parts.
