Job Description

Job Title: Sales Executive – Industrial Cooling Solutions Location: [Kolkata / PAN India / As applicable] Department: Sales & Marketing Reports to: Sales Manager / Director --- Job Objective: To support the growth of Tempcon’s product sales (Industrial ACs, Crane ACs, Process Chillers, and Precision ACs) by generating new leads, engaging with potential clients, assisting in sales activities, and learning B2B sales processes on the job. --- Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead Generation & Prospecting Research potential clients in targeted industries (steel, power, mining, manufacturing, etc.) Use LinkedIn, JustDial, IndiaMART, and exhibitions to identify prospects. Build and maintain a pipeline of leads under the guidance of a senior. 2. Communication & Client Engagement Make cold calls and send introductory emails to prospects. Schedule online/in-person meetings for senior sales managers or self when trained. Follow up regularly with prospects to maintain engagement. 3. Learning & Development Undergo product training to understand Tempcon’s core offerings and technical advantages. Learn sales tools such as CRM (Zoho/HubSpot), Google Sheets-based trackers, or Excel formats used internally. Shadow senior executives on client meetings and calls to understand B2B negotiations. 4. Proposal Support & Coordination Prepare quotations, proposals, and product brochures with support from the technical team. Maintain client records and communication logs in Google Sheets or CRM. Coordinate with the service team for client queries or AMC discussions. 5. Sales Closure & Handover Assist in negotiations and order finalization with guidance from senior team members. Ensure smooth handover of confirmed orders to operations and service teams. --- Sales Target (First 12 Months): Annual Target: Approx. 60 – 80 Lakhs INR (based on performance and market) --- Key Skills & Qualities: Excellent verbal and written communication (English & Hindi/Bengali preferred) Willingness to learn technical products and B2B sales cycle Ability to travel for client visits and exhibitions Self-driven, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Growth Opportunity: If the executive meets or exceeds targets and shows strong technical understanding, they can grow into a Senior Sales Executive or Area Sales Manager role in 12–18 months.
