Sales & Marketing API Fermentation

You will be responsible for leading and driving sales, marketing, and business development initiatives in the fermentation-based Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) segment. Your role will involve developing and executing strategies for domestic and international markets, building client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your key responsibilities will include developing sales and marketing strategies, managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, working with R&D and regulatory teams, understanding regulatory requirements, participating in industry events, preparing sales forecasts, managing contract negotiations, and staying updated on fermentation technologies and market trends. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, Pharma, or a related discipline, along with 12 to 15 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development of fermentation-based APIs. You should possess strong technical knowledge of fermentation processes, a good understanding of the API/pharma ecosystem, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a willingness to travel as needed. Preferred skills include experience in regulated markets, knowledge of downstream processing and strain development, and strong analytical and commercial acumen.,
