Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive zonal sales strategy to penetrate markets, expand the customer base, and increase market share.
Establish clear performance metrics and providing support to ensure company goals are met.
Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.
Identify and evaluate opportunities for market expansion across different regions within the country.
Conduct market research and analysis to understand regional dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, contributing to the overall business planning process.
Implement corrective measures when necessary to achieve or exceed sales targets.
Stay informed about zonal and regional regulations related to solar energy trading.
Ensure that sales activities adhere to compliance standards and legal requirements.
Attend the enquires and leads forwarded by the Team.
Setting and achieving sales targets.
Representing company at trade shows and other industry events.
Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
7+ years of experience in B2B or B2C sales, with at least 2 to 3 years in the solar or renewable energy sector will be an add-on.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
Willingness to travel as required.
