Role Summary

Responsible for managing customer sales enquiries, providing technical product guidance, and driving sales through effective communication, product knowledge, and customer relationship management. The role involves end-to-end sales coordination, technical presentations, tender management, and post-sales support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer sales enquiries via phone calls and email in a timely and professional manner.
  • Handle a high volume of customer interactions while delivering high-quality service.
  • Perform product selection and equipment sizing based on customer requirements.
  • Recommend products that best meet customer needs in terms of technical specifications, quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to confirm sales orders, delivery schedules, and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships by understanding and interpreting client requirements.
  • Meet assigned sales targets and coordinate sales-related projects effectively.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations demonstrating how products meet client needs.
  • Propose alternative or improved materials/products and clearly explain their benefits to customers.
  • Provide technical support to customers and resolve issues related to installed equipment.
  • Assist in research and development activities for new product offerings.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and conditions aligned with both customer expectations and business objectives.
  • Resolve sales-related issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare, submit, and manage GEM tenders, handling the complete tendering lifecycle.
  • Prepare end-of-month sales reports and maintain accurate customer records.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong sales and customer service capabilities, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to apply engineering, technical, or scientific principles to product sales.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent tools.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in technical sales, product sales, or a related role
