Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented

Accounts Assistant

to support daily accounting and finance operations. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with statutory compliance, and supporting month-end and year-end financial activities.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain books of accounts, including entries for sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
Assist in the preparation of invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
Handle bank entries, bank reconciliation statements (BRS), and petty cash transactions.
Support GST-related activities, including data preparation, reconciliation, and return filing.
Assist with TDS entries and documentation related to statutory compliance.
Coordinate with vendors and customers for account confirmations and payment follow-ups.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
Maintain proper documentation and systematic filing of financial records.
Assist senior accounts staff and auditors during internal and external audits.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
1–3 years of relevant experience in accounts or finance roles.
Working knowledge of accounting software such as Zoho, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance requirements.
Strong numerical skills with high attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

Experience working in the manufacturing or engineering industry.
Knowledge of invoicing, taxation, and compliance procedures.
